Thoroughly Modern Bunnies

With whatever bunny you find at TJ Maxx and HomeGoods, don’t feel like you need to use it only in a table setting. I found these beautifully modern gold, white, and polka dot bunnies that I was able to use in different settings all throughout my house. I especially fell in love with this Chubby Bunny with Golden Egg by Nicole Miller Home [$12.99] and used it both in this Golden Tray by Maxx Studio Home [$29.99] by my stove as well as the Brunch Bunnies Buffet a couple posts back.

This is one of my favorite MaxxAddict Tips: Filling a tray with little knickknacks as well as functional items such as salt, oil, vinegar and flatware is a great way to leave frequently needed items out without leaving clutter in your kitchen.

I had also used this Brass Bunny on the Brunch Bunnies Table which is another good MaxxAddict Tip: For table settings, don’t feel like you have to buy several new things (figurines, knickknacks, etc.) just for the table. If you buy something you love, you can use it in more long-term spots then pull it from that spot to use on a table setting for a couple hours. No use in buying multiples!

I had my own oil and vinegar already but TJ Maxx and Homegoods has a great selection of these!

This Mercury Glass Silver Pail by Luxe Habitat [$5.99] could be used for so many things but I love having it here mixxed and maxxed with the brasses and golds. Within it I placed that wonderful Gold Hammered Flatware, by St. James [$59.99 for 24 pieces] which I have used in almost every Easter setting I have created.

And just for good measure, here are a couple up-close shots of the Chubby Bunny just because it’s so cute.

Now another modern twist on the beloved Easter bunny using the Polka Dot Jack Rabbit that everyone (myself included) loves so much. This seemed to be the crowd favorite in my last post so we are extending the GIVEAWAY one day. See details far below on how to snag one for you and one for a friend.

I pulled this Polka Dot Jack Rabbit by Luxehabitate [$12.99] from the All Hopped Up spread to add some Easter to the rest of my house. I tried it out in a couple spots but in the end, I really loved how it looks in my bedroom.

The couch is another wonderful piece we inherited from my mother-in-law. I had it reupholstered and had these pillows made to go on it. While none of these (couch and pillows) come from TJ Maxx or HomeGoods, I should point out that the fabric for the pillows is Waverly, a brand of TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. This is a great look if you are following the gray, navy and gold color trend that is going on right now.

I coupled the Polka Dot Jack Rabbit with this wonderful Faux Chocolate Bunny [$12.99] and loved how clean, simple, and fun they looked together. Really no need to add anything else to this!

The Round Top Iron and Marble Table [$59.99] is a HomeGoods find from a couple years ago. It has worked perfectly within the space of my bedroom and I love its contemporary look. There is no way you could find a table like this anywhere else for this price. I actually have a couple in my house since they are very versatile in so many settings. The lamp is the same one I used in our first MaxxAddict post, Spring Is In The Flair. It is a Visual Comfort lamp that I purchased elsewhere but, don’t dismay, I see this brand at HomeGoods all the time.

Hope you love these modern Easter settings as much as I do! Remember we are GIVING AWAY 2 of the Polka Dot Jack Rabbits – since it seemed to be the crowd favorite (but if you want the Flower Power rabbits from the All Hopped Up post we’ll do a swap). To win, tag 5 Easter-loving friends, and have them follow Maxx Addicts (on Instagram and the blog)! We are extending this until Friday, April 14th, 8 am PST. Winner gets one for them and one for a friend of their choice (who they tagged). Shipping out Friday so pull out your lucky rabbit foot for this one!
